Automation in Anesthesia: First Ever Technology for US Providers

When: Sunday, October 15th 12:00-1:00 PM

  • Description:
The first automated technology for inhaled anesthetic delivery is now available to the US anesthesia community (after 10+ years of use in Europe and other parts of the world). Hear about its published accuracy and efficiency from outside the US as well as the “MASTER Trial”, a US multi-center prospective randomized controlled trial of this target control software*. Through use of this software, anesthesia providers quickly achieve and maintain end-tidal oxygen and anesthetic agent targets they set, which has been shown in one study to reduce device interaction by >50%¹, and shown in another study to decrease greenhouse gas emissions >40%³...all without sacrificing patient safety.

Then, a panel of leading anesthesiologists will convene to discuss their experience using this software in their facilities. They will discuss gaining consensus & adoption, best practices, clinical experience, anesthetic agent waste reduction, and more.

Lunch provided; first come, first served to the first 200 people.

Workshop: A Quantitative Approach to Anesthesia Monitoring
