GE HealthCare is very excited to announce our implementation of the Coupa Business Spend Management platform for all our Source-to-Pay transactions. Coupa is an industry leading AI-driven cloud-based platform serving 3,000+ global customers and managing transactions with 9.5M+ global suppliers. We very much look forward to and appreciate your partnership with us in this program.

What is Coupa?

Coupa is a cloud-based purchasing and payment tool with an easy-to-use interface that will make it simpler for suppliers to connect with GE HealthCare.  This new way of working will facilitate all purchase orders, invoices, and communications being managed through the Coupa Supplier Portal.

  • Decreased paperwork – no longer need to print, mail or fax invoices. 
  • One stop shop – easily create and submit invoices online. 
  • Greater visibility across the PO, invoicing, and billing/payment process.

Our rollout of Coupa will be done using a phased approach over 14-18 months, starting with the GE HealthCare Legal Entities located in the Europe and META regions on Nov 13, 2023.  Our full schedule is provided below. Any schedule changes will be updated here:

Phase 1 - GEHC LEs located in the META and Europe Regions - Already live since Nov 13, 2023
Phase 2 - Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India - April 8, 2024 - Expected go live is May 6, 2024
Phase 3- USCAN - May 27, 2024 - Expected go live is July 15, 2024
Phase 4- RRCIS (Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan), Mexico, Columbia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Panama, Puerto Rico, China - Go Live is TBD

To take full advantage of the Coupa platform and enable electronic transactions to flow to and from suppliers, selected suppliers will be enabled in Coupa. The Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) is a free tool for our suppliers to use and easily conduct business with GE HealthCare.

GE HealthCare is implementing the Coupa solution to better shape the experience of end users and suppliers. This change will allow us to work with our suppliers in a faster, more efficient manner and with even greater clarity.


To successfully register you in Coupa and ensure a smooth transition to our new processes, we need your assistance by providing us with necessary information. Your email address was listed in our system as a past contact for your company.


For invoices currently submitted to GE HealthCare, Coupa will replace the following channels once Supplier is successfully registered with Coupa Supplier Portal:

Email
invoicing: If you are currently emailing your invoices, please submit your invoices to the email address mentioned on the PO


Tungsten electronic invoicing: GEHC recommends using Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP): This supplier business portal allows suppliers to conduct business transactions, including view and manage purchase orders, submit order confirmations, create invoices, check status of transactions and more.


Automatic Interface (cXML): GEHC recommends using Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP)
