Anatomical depiction of liver tissue stiffness using acoustic waves

MR Touch

Developed by GE HealthCare with the Mayo Clinic, MR Touch uses acoustic waves to identify variations in liver tissue stiffness. This provides an anatomical depiction, the Elastrogram, which provides radiologists and gastroenterologists additional input to help them make informed decisions about treatment. The image is captured in as little as 14 seconds, one short breath-hold.
