Healthcare Education & Training Institutes in India 

GE Healthcare launched a mission to accelerate the building of “Yogya Bharat” or “Skilled India” that will improve access to quality healthcare throughout the country. The company has partnered with leading healthcare and education experts to set up healthcare education & training institutes that will provide accredited skill building programs for 12th Standard pass eligible students and skill enhancement programs for existing healthcare professionals.

The Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) is a Not-for-Profit, Non- Statutory Certifying Organization, under the ambit of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Council has been promoted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) and Healthcare Industry Leaders representing both public and private sector. The key objective of the Council is to create a robust and vibrant eco-system for quality vocational education and skill development in Healthcare space in the country

The certificate is issued after 1 year post completion of class room training and internship. The Certificate is issued by Healthcare Sector Skill counsel.
