Optison is provided in 3 mL vials and is available in two package quantities, 5 or 18 , respectively. Spikes for venting Optison prior to withdrawl by syringe are also available.

• Optison is available in two package sizes containing 5 or 18 Optison 3 mL vials, respectively Optison has a shelflife of 18 months when stored refrigerated between 2-8 °C (36-46 °F). Always look at the expiration date on each vial before use¹
• Storage at room temperature (up to 25 °C or 77 °F) for up to 24 hours is permitted
• Do not freeze

• Optison is the only UEA that does not require a device or specific equipment to prepare or activate
• Optison has a highly consistent microsphere size, and simple preparation ensures a high level of suspended microspheres
• Vials can go directly from storage to cart without premixing
• If unopened and at room temperature up to 24 hours, Optison may be returned safely to refrigeration for use at a later time
• For bolus injection, Optison takes less than one minute from suspension to injection in three steps: prepare, check and load syringe

• Optison is produced at our GE HealthCare manufacturing site and shipped at room temperature from our distribution center to customers overnight
• Temperature studies have shown Optison can be shipped without a Styrofoam cooler or Koolit pack throughout the year without impacting the integrity of the product or its expiration date¹
• Optison should be stored in a refrigerator immediately upon receipt
• As per the Prescribing Information storage statement, Optison can be stored at room temperature by the customer for up to 24 hours
