Omnipaque is available in two types of packaging: glass vials and +PLUSPAK™ polymer bottles in various quantities and volumes and as an oral solution. All are packaged in boxes of 10.

Labels
• The peel-off tracking label on the bottles should be stuck onto the patient record to enable accurate recording of the contrast agent used. The dose used should also be recorded. If electronic patient records are used, the name of the product, the batch number and the dose should be entered into the patient record.

Shelf-life and storage
• Shelf life, three years.
• Omnipaque should be stored at or below 30 °C protected from light.
• The product in glass vials and bottles can be stored at 37°C for up to 3 months prior to use.
• The product in polypropylene bottles may be stored at 37°C for up to 1 month prior to use.
