GE HealthCare and Carilion Clinic Expand Collaboration to Support Patient Care and Community Health Across Virginia

CHICAGO — June 11, 2026 — GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC) today announced an expansion of its clinical engineering services relationship with Carilion Clinic, providing the healthcare system with its Advanced Asset Management Program (AAMP) and Encompass™, its real‑time location system (RTLS), to help ensure critical medical equipment is available where and when it’s needed to support patient care.

This expanded relationship includes GE HealthCare’s Advanced Asset Management Program, which brings the latest dedicated asset management expertise to Carilion to help optimize medical equipment across its full lifecycle. The program focuses on reducing variability in how equipment is planned, deployed, and supported across the system, helping clinical and operational teams make informed decisions while easing workflow pressures.

The collaboration also includes GE HealthCare’s Encompass web‑based RTLS solution that provides system‑wide visibility into mobile medical equipment. Encompass helps healthcare teams locate equipment more efficiently, increase staff productivity, reduce downtime, prevent patient delays, and keep caregivers at the bedside where they are needed most. This agreement extends the benefits of Encompass across Carilion, including at Roanoke Memorial Hospital’s Crystal Spring Tower, the new home of Carilion’s Cardiovascular Institute, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, and an expanded emergency department.
