GE HealthCare to highlight digital innovations at HIMSS 2025

February 27, 2025

  • Booth #1725 will showcase AI-enabled innovations and digital solutions to advance the future of healthcare and address healthcare’s toughest challenges

Las Vegas — February 27, 2025 — GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC) will showcase its latest industry-leading portfolio of artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled medical devices and digital solutions in Booth #1725 at the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Global Health Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas, NV from March 4-6, 2025.

A study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that attending physicians often face excessive workloads, which can lead to increased medical errors and negatively impact patient care.[1] In addition, data in the healthcare sector is growing at 36% a year.[2] This poses a significant challenge for health systems to efficiently manage and unlock value from this information.

To enable care teams to better utilize patient and clinical data more effectively and streamline workflows, GE HealthCare is committed to integrating AI and cloud in its technology, enabling clinicians to enhance precision care and health systems to achieve operational efficiency.

"At GE HealthCare, we are at the forefront of driving digital transformation, uniquely positioned to tackle today's toughest healthcare issues. We firmly believe that the future of healthcare is happening now, and our continued investments in AI and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) are pivotal in delivering in this journey to facilitate precision care,” said Scott Miller, Solutions for Enterprise Imaging (SEI) CEO, GE HealthCare.

GE HealthCare has been investing in AI for years and has topped an FDA list of AI-enabled device authorizations for three years in a row with 85 authorizations.[3] At HIMSS 2025, GE HealthCare will be exhibiting the following medical devices and digital solutions:

  • AI Orchestrator: GE HealthCare’s AI-enabled application orchestration is offered in collaboration with Blackford, a pioneering strategic AI platform and solutions provider, to advance enterprise imaging. Application orchestration is a solution that can give customers easy access to multiple applications. The offering will be integrated with GE HealthCare’s True PACS and Centricity PACS[4][5] solutions to help radiologists prioritize their workload, which could help lead to quicker diagnosis and treatment for patients.
  • Datalogue™ (Vendor Neutral Archive): With data security, managed access, collaboration, and data management, Datalogue[6] manages patients’ records so you don’t have to.
  • Verisound Digital & AI Ultrasound Solutions: A suite of ultrasound technologies that brings together GE HealthCare’s existing ultrasound AI and digital workflow solutions as part of a unified platform designed to help clinicians work smarter and more efficiently. Verisound™ Fleet empowers clinical and healthcare technology teams to remotely view, back up, and deploy device configurations.
  • ViewPoint 6: Ultrasound reporting software that addresses the challenge of a demanding workflow, streamlining the workflow by distributing data directly from the ultrasound system to populate reports, giving clinicians more time with their patients.
  • Digital Tools for Vscan Air: Key tools to securely store and share images in the cloud. A 60-day trial of Digital Tools is available for both existing and new Vscan Air users.
  • Digital Expert Connect: A GE HealthCare ultrasound solution that allows users to easily collaborate virtually with colleagues across their network.
  • Command Center: GE HealthCare’s Command Center is an AI-powered software that helps hospitals and health systems manage patient flow, streamline operations, and make data-driven decisions in real-time. More than 300 hospitals around the world use Command Center to integrate data from various systems, providing a holistic view of clinical operations that can help hospitals reduce bottlenecks and ensure patients receive timely care.
