Cine IR

Determine optimal TI time for your myocardial delayed enhancement study.

Cine IR

Cine IR captures image contrast evolution at different TI times to quickly determine optimal TI value for myocardial delayed enhancement (MDE) in a rapid, single breath-hold 20 second acquisition. Multiple TI evolution images can also help you detect certain tissue T1 abnormalities such as amyloid, vasculitis or diffuse fibrosis.

It uses multiphase FGRE Cine acquisition that captures image contrast evolution at different TI times. It also features Adiabatic Inversion Recovery (IR) for uniform myocardial suppression, and supports both 1 RR and 2 RR mode Multiphase FGRE Cine acquisition.

"The Cine IR sequence is a very useful tool helping us optimize 2D myocardial delayed enhancement acquisition. The high temporal resolution allows the TI optimization with good SNR and CNR, and shortened total exam time."
