Revolutionizing IBD care with intestinal ultrasound: Bridging radiology and clinical practice

Intestinal ultrasound (IUS) is transforming the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by providing real-time, non-invasive, and cost-effective assessment at the point of care. This 45-minute session will review the fundamentals of IUS, its advantages and limitations compared to other imaging modalities, and practical strategies for integrating it into clinical workflows. Faculty will highlight opportunities for collaboration between radiologists and IBD clinicians, addressing current gaps, barriers to adoption, and future directions for advancing IUS as a standard tool in IBD care.
