Children at the center of care: Global strategies for managing metabolic liver disease with multiparametric ultrasound

The rising prevalence of childhood obesity and metabolic disease is driving an increasing burden of chronic liver disease worldwide. In this international panel discussion, experts from North America, Europe, and Asia will share how their healthcare systems are addressing this growing challenge, from prevention and early intervention to diagnosis and longitudinal management. Through regional perspectives and real-world clinical experiences, faculty will explore the role of multiparametric ultrasound in identifying children at risk, monitoring disease progression, and supporting patient-centered care pathways. The discussion will also highlight current public health initiatives and future opportunities to improve liver health outcomes beginning in childhood.
