Chicago — December 1, 2025 — GE HealthCare (Nasdaq: GEHC) announced the latest advancements of Imaging 360 now enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI) designed to help improve efficiency in the radiology department. AI driven Discoveries helps to balance device utilization, optimize slot times and identify opportunities to standardize protocols – all with the intent of giving back time and energy to healthcare providers so they can deliver optimal care to more patients with existing resources.
With advanced machine learning, clustering algorithms, statistical models and sophisticated decision-tree frameworks, Imaging 360 powered by AI is an intentional innovation that reflects GE HealthCare’s commitment to delivering integrated software and hardware solutions that maximize the value of imaging systems—supporting both clinical decision-making and daily operations.
“Imaging 360 continues to advance to address the evolving operational challenges of radiology departments. Our latest AI-powered release is designed to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce administrative burden, and help alleviate staff fatigue—so clinicians can dedicate more time to patient care,” said Scott Miller, CEO of Solutions for Enterprise Imaging, GE HealthCare.
Imaging 360 powered by AI delivers a unified view that helps to streamline radiology fleet management, optimize staff allocation and drive productivity.
Imaging 360 gives visibility into a hospital’s imaging fleet performance from one access point. Fleet status, centralized analytics, and AI-driven recommendations can help streamline daily workflows and inform strategic planning. The product can also help empower leaders to manage resources more effectively and scale with confidence. By centralizing data , hospitals can proactively address machine downtime, scheduling gaps, and resource misallocation.
AI-driven insights is designed to support consistent protocol execution. Helping reduce protocol variation that can lead to rescans, inefficiencies and inconsistent care, Imaging 360 allows hospitals to monitor standardized protocol adoption across their fleet, minimize workflow disruptions, and reduce the need for staff travel by enabling protocols to be distributed across the enterprise from one central location. Customers globally are already benefiting from Imaging 360, and Discoveries will help take this one step further.
“There's more consistency. So, the standards are more equal in all our sites and hospitals, also the uncertainty has reduced and the collaboration between the teams at different hospitals has increased, ” said Dr. Andreas Zabel, Radiologist and head of CT, The Kantonsspital St. Gallen.[1]
Imaging 360 powered with AI will be displayed at the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) 2025 Annual Meeting from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 in Chicago, in booth 7334. Visit here to learn more about GE HealthCare’s Imaging 360.
