TruSignal SpO₂ & Pulse Oximetry

GE HealthCare pulse oximetry technology

TruSignal sensors and interconnect cables are accurate and compatible with a wide range of monitors from GE HealthCare.

TruSignal sensors and interconnect cables can be relied on for safety and accuracy and are backward compatible with Datex, Ohmeda, and GE HealthCare SpO₂, Pulse oxymetry. The cables are resistant to fraying and kinking due to our innovative design and high-quality cable materials.

Designed for patient comfort and to help clinicians make better care decisions, TruSignal™ sensors and interconnect cables are used in continuous non-invasive arterial oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse oxymetry rate monitoring and SPI monitoring (Surgical Pleth Index is part of the Adequacy of Anesthesia solution).

Exceptional pulse oximetry connects intelligence and care

A non-invasive test, pulse oximetry measures the oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and is best ensured when original sensors and cables – those designed and validated by the device’s manufacturer are used. GE HealthCare's TruSignal technology enables both SPO₂ and the surgical pleth index (SPI)2, with enhanced low perfusion performance.

    Key Highlights

    Accurate

High-quality LED components match the calibration curves in the device and are designed to account for variations in measurement technologies.

    Durable

Connector design and cable materials are resistant to fraying and kinking while both cables and sensors are drip-proof and able to withstand frequent disinfections.

    Single-patient use

Disposable TruSignal SpO₂ sensors support infection control workflows while delivering accurate readings that help clinicians make appropriate and confident care decisions.

    Compatibility

TruSignal SpO₂3 sensors and cables are designed and tested to support non-invasive arterial oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate monitoring. With TruSignal you help ensure patient comfort. TruSignal SpO₂ is compatible with the following products from our patient monitoring portfolio:

    • CARESCAPE Canvas monitor with CARESCAPE ONE monitor
    • CARESCAPE B450/B650/B850 monitor with CARESCAPE ONE monitor or E-PSM module
    • Portrait VSM monitor
    • CARESCAPE V100/VC150 monitors
    • B1X5 monitors

2 Surgical Pleth Index (SPI) is to be used for unconscious and fully anesthetized adult (>18 years old) patients during general anesthesia. SPI monitoring can be performed with CARESCAPE™ modular monitors and GE HealthCare TruSignal SpO₂ technology. SPI measurement site should always be the finger.
3 TruSignal sensors and cables have been tested to and comply with IEC60601-1:2005, IEC 80601-2-61, and ISO9919:2009, as well as other standards.
