New Command Center expediates care delivery or Acıbadem Healthcare Group in Turkey
Background
Acıbadem Healthcare Group, one of Turkey’s leading healthcare providers, partnered with GE HealthCare to launch a Command Center space. Supported by new technology and an optimized staffing model, the initiative has improved real-time data visibility and cross-departmental communication. With a workforce of 25,000—including 3,600 physicians and 5,750 nurses—Acıbadem delivers care across 26 hospitals and 19 medical centers. The Command Center has helped strengthen coordination and improve outcomes for patients and care teams throughout the network.
The Enterprise Solutions approach
To successfully complete this project, GE HealthCare and Acıbadem implemented Patient Manager Tile at 3 sites and deployed 7 Central Management Dashboards for 18 sites. In addition, staff established a new team of Mission Controllers and Clinical Expediters in a dedicated 250m¹ space to enact rapid problem-solving capabilities. The Strategic Advisory arm also provided focused training in change management and lean methodology; which helped uncover additional opportunities through insights from the Command Center.
