Workflow intelligence
Higher standard in efficiency

Revolution Altitude streamlines the CT experience from positioning to image delivery. Our Smart Workflow solution combines a gantry mounted tablet with the AI powered Xtream Camera to automate patient centering and protocol selection, reducing clicks by up to 80%2 and positioning time by 56%3. By automatically aligning the patient to isocenter, it helps reduce variability that can increase dose and image noise.

Combined with Auto Views, for automated & AI powered post processing reviews, Revolution Altitude helps keep workflows moving efficiently while supporting consistent image quality and dose management.

Disclaimers

  1. Theoretical calculation results based on MTF 0% value in X/Y.
  2. From GE HealthCare AI Auto positioning Technical White Paper (JB02629XX).
  3. The data was based on comparison between GE’s legacy products (16 ch and 64 ch scanner) and Revolution Ascend in three institutions using a pilot product and selected routine head and body. The data set of this comparison was 838 exams for legacy products and 1387 exams for Revolution Ascend. The time saving value may not be effective for all institutions depending on the clinical practice. The scan setting time is defined as from “Open new patient” to “Confirm setting for Scout”.
  4. Image quality as defined by low contrast detectability. In clinical practice, the use of DLIR may reduce CT patient dose depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location, and clinical practice. A consultation with a radiologist and a physicist should be made to determine the appropriate dose to obtain diagnostic image quality for the particular clinical task. Low Contrast Detectability (LCD) and Artifact were assessed using reference factory protocols comparing DLIR and FBP. TheLCD was measured in 0.625 mm slices and tested for both head and body modes using the MITA CT IQ Phantom (CT189, CT191, The Phantom Laboratory), using a model observer method
  5. Recyclable material usage is estimated based on projections from the previous generation product, Revolution Maxima.
