Beyond detection: How multiparametric ultrasound shapes clinical decisions in breast care

Breast Ultrasound has evolved beyond lesion detection to become a comprehensive clinical decision-support tool. In this session, Prof Gordana Ivanac explores how B-mode imaging, vascular assessment, shear wave elastography, AI, contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and other techniques can be integrated throughout the breast patient journey to improve lesion characterization, risk stratification, treatment selection, and longitudinal monitoring. Through practical clinical cases, attendees will discover how multiparametric ultrasound can provide actionable insights at every stage of care.

Speakers

Gordana Ivanac, MD, MSc, PhD

Full Professor of Radiology, University of Zagreb School of Medicine
