    About This Class

    The GE Healthcare Revolution™ CT Cardiac training course is designed to provide the attendee with the knowledge to successfully produce cardiac exams using various applications. This course will provide a framework for participants to teach other technologists at their facility. Participants will get the opportunity to work on the Revolution CT scanner and demonstration consoles. The course will cover patient preparation, ECG setup, protocol selections, all cardiac scan parameters, and ECG editing. Post-processing will include basic reformat and VR, segment tools, Cardiac reformat and transparency, Tree VR, Smart Score, and Auto Vessel Analysis, as well as other cardiac applications. Participants who meet attendance requirements are eligible for ASRT Continuing Education credits.

      This course is designed for Technologists with a CT background that are preparing to scan cardiac exams on the Revolution CT scanner and post-process the resulting images.

    • Prerequisite

      Registrants enrolling for this course must have experience scanning on the Revolution CT scanner. Registrants must post-process on an Advantage Workstation (AW) 4.7 Volume Share 7 or higher, or an Advantage Workstation Server (AWS) 3.1 or higher. There are online courses that are prerequisites to the instructor-led training at the GE Healthcare Institute. As our curriculum follows a progressive pattern, it is essential that you complete the prerequisite courses before the instructor-led portion of the curriculum. These topics will be reviewed during on-site training, but will not be covered in depth.
