Dr. Kalra is a staff radiologist in Divisions of Cardiac and Thoracic Imaging in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston Massachusetts and Instructor in Radiology with the Harvard Medical School.
Over the past six years he has authored over 150 original research articles, book chapters, abstract and review articles on CT technology assessment and radiation dose reduction. Dr. Kalra's work on CT radiation dose optimization has earned him several awards and prizes at national and international radiology meetings. His research interests currently include advanced reconstruction and image processing techniques for CT radiation dose reduction. He has extensive hands on expertise in optimizing CT radiation dose for pediatric and adult patients.
