    About this class

    The GE Healthcare CardioLab AltiX Edition training program is designed to provide the attendee with the knowledge to operate the CardioLab system and to successfully incorporate features, functions and documentation into the customers workflow. The course will prepare the customer for onsite applications training. It may also enhance the learning experience for those attending after their onsite applications training. The class is designed to provide a framework for participants to teach others at their facility.

    This lecture and hands-on session is conducted on a live system, with additional demonstration, hands on exercises, discussion/Lecture located at the GE Healthcare Institute near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss recording, measurements, networking and documentation as related to workflow. Participants who meet attendance requirements are eligible for ASRT or CBRN Continuing Education credits.

    • Overview

      The objective of this course is to introduce the concepts and techniques required to appropriately document and record cases with the CardioLab system.

      Course Competencies:

      • Identify system components and their functions.
      • Admit Patients.
      • Customize System Display.
      • State how an where the system saves data.
      • Perform Manual and Computer Assisted Measurements.
      • Recognize when to use the Ablation, Interval, and Plot windows.
      • Create and Edit Study Configurations.
      • Work with Master Lists, Custom Forms and Reports.
      • Recognize when to use toolbar, icons and menus.
      • Perform Administrative functions and customization.
    • Target Audience

      This course is designed for customers with an Electrophysiology background. This course will also benefit staff who are new to your facility or are cross training to use the CardioLab system.

    • Prerequisite

      There are online courses that are prerequisites to the instructor-led training at the GE Healthcare Institute. As our curriculum follows a progressive pattern, it is essential that you complete the prerequisite courses before the instructor-led portion of the curriculum. These online courses will help with fundamental understanding during HQ Classes.
