Have you ever seen a giraffe run a marathon? 🦒 Well, now you have!  Completing a marathon is a huge undertaking, so each year we loan our equipment to healthcare professionals working at the Brighton race in the UK to help monitor and treat patients on the ground. 💨 This year is even more special, however, as two of our colleagues, Maria and Emanuel, actually took part in the event. 🏃♀️ Maria suffers from bronchiectasis, a respiratory disorder, so when she heard about GE HealthCare supporting the Brighton marathon, she wanted to challenge herself to take part. And if the 26 miles wasn't enough of a feat, as the Modality Leader for Maternal Infant Care, Maria decided to race dressed up as a giraffe, given the name of our neonatal product line, in a bid to raise as much money as possible for a worthy cause - specifically, Spoons Charity. 🦒 "Being the Modality Leader for Maternal Infant Care, it was a no brainer that I wanted to fundraise for a neonatal charity." - Maria, Modality Leader for Maternal Infant Care, Manchester, UK. #FutureofHealthcare #NeonatalCare #Marathon

Wireless handheld ultrasound 🤝 real-time AI guidance software Cardiac ultrasound assessment can be challenging and vary from patient to patient, especially for users who are not performing cardiac ultrasound daily.  With the help of on-device AI, there's now a way for handheld ultrasound users to confidently acquire cardiac views for rapid assessments at the point of care.
