Physician and imaging tech review mammography images on a computer

“There is no doubt that the CEM exam is a game changer that provides clear images of significant breast lesions, literally and figuratively. New users of CEM will not believe how they managed to practice breast imaging without it.”

— Anat Kornecki, MD, RCPSC, division Head of breast Imaging at Western University

You asked and we listened. You wanted an online forum where you can “meet” and share best practices around contrast-enhanced spectral mammography (CESM) or commonly known as contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM); get help with business or staff issues; hear (and share) marketing ideas; and discuss the role of CEM for difficult cases.

“CEM is making a huge difference for our patients,” said Philip Blaustein, MD, of Envision Physician Services/HCA Blake Medical Center Bradenton, Fla. “We want the opportunity and platform to share knowledge and experiences with new users in order to shorten the learning curve.”

Announcing GE Healthcare’s new SenoBright™ Club, “we designed this private, secure forum so our customers can share ideas about everything from developing a new practice to training their staff, informing referring physicians and their community about SenoBright, and discussing how to receive reimbursement for the exam,” said Catherine Lezy, GE’s General Manager for its global Mammography business.

“I am very excited to hear that GE is forming a CEM user club,” said Phyllis Fulk, the chief financial officer/administrator for Imaging for Women in Kansas City, MO. “The networking and information that can be shared will assist us in creating a successful CEM implementation and overall program.”

Ms. Fulk has been a member of a similar club GE offers for users of our automated breast ultrasound (ABUS). “We’ve found it to be instrumental in the success of our ABUS program,” she said. “Sharing knowledge with other users is invaluable.”

In addition to the forum, the Club web site will feature links to articles to help you to stay at the forefront of advancements in medical and diagnostic developments in mammography.

The site also contains educational and marketing materials for you and your patients; videos about the technology to share with referring physicians; patient videos on what to expect during a SenoBright exam; webinars; templates for press releases and other public relations materials; and more.

“I am delighted to learn that the SenoBright Club is finally coming to fruition,” said Cathrine E. Keller, MD, managing physician and president of Lake Medical Imaging in Leesburg, Fla. I look forward to a collaborative group able to share best practices for both initial and ongoing implementation, interpretation, and education so all of us can reap the greatest utility from GE’s CEM technology.”

One more thing: this is your club. And it’s dynamic. See something we need to add? Just ask.

The SenoBright Club will launch in early 2022. You can learn more about it at our booth at RSNA or talk to your sales representative about how you can be part of the inaugural users.
