The wide dynamic range of GE's flat panel digital detector combines with the Tissue Equalization algorithm to allow both low-density and high-density tissue to be displayed on a single view with a single exposure. The resulting X-ray image provides excellent quality, even in dense, difficult-to-visualize regions. Optimization of image contrast through Tissue Equalization allows the entire bone field to be quickly and easily visualized - minimizing re-takes while delivering more diagnostic information. |
