GE's sophisticated AutoEx™ intelligent dose management system uses real-time image information to optimize the all-digital image chain parameters including X-ray technique and spectral filtration.

On the Precision 500D digital R & F system, AutoEx software selects optimized exposure parameters and filtration based on estimated patient thickness, field of view and contrast media. On-the- fly adjustments can optimize technique efficiencies to ensure clean, consistent images without overexposing the patient.
