When the ceiling is the limit, GE’s Definium® 5000 fixed digital radiography imaging system is a flexible, affordable solution for transitioning to digital technology. Orthopedic facilities, physician offices, hospital satellites and other stand-alone imaging centers now have an option to perform digital imaging on site. The floor mounted U-arm positioner easily fits into small spaces without a ceiling support. Advanced software and automated features improve productivity while reducing total exam and processing time. Optional Image Paste software enables multiple exposures to be combined into a single image for long bone studies.
