Tissue Equalization

Special GE image processing that compensates for varying breast tissue densities to display detail of the entire breast from the chest wall all the way to the skin line. Allows for 'one view visualization' of all areas of the breast, regardless of density.

Magnification

Three magnification modes. Electronic Zoom electronically magnifies the entire image. The Magnification Glass magnifies a specific area as you move the tool in real-time. In some cases this may reduce the need to take additional exposures, saving time, and increasing comfort for the patient. As well, true geometric magnification views may be imaged, as the system has a removable grid.

Image Inversion

Inverts a black/white display to white/black display. This allows radiologists to look at subtle microcalcifications in a new way.

Window Leveling

The dynamic range of digital is significantly better than film, which allows the radiologist to see more shades of gray and pan through the images to see subtleties in the breast. Enhancing viewing techniques.

Annotations & Measurements

The Senographe 2000D Review Workstation enables electronic annotation on the image and easy to apply accurate measurement tools.
