Delta 32, Delta TACT® and Delta 32 TACT® all have U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for diagnostic digital spot imaging. Additionally Delta TACT® and Delta 32 TACT® can be used for diagnostic 3D imaging.

Delta products are a natural extension to the Diamond breast care platform. Common to all Delta products is patient comfort combined with clinically correct shape for proper positioning and sealed construction for easy cleaning.

Ease of Handling

The lightweight Delta camera units are simple and fast to take into use. No external wiring or connections are needed, but the units connect to Diamond by simply placing the camera to it's position. No time-consuming calibration or system warm-up is needed. The sealed camera construction has no sharp edges and thus it is easy to clean and comfortable for the patient.

Stereotactic work is given a new dimension with the Delta 32 TACT® option for 3D digital mammography. The stereotactic biopsy device Delta 32, can be upgraded to TACT® 3D imaging functionality.

Diamond's Built-in Mechanics

Delta 32 allows a free choice of projection angle within ±185° to minimize the distance from the skin to the lesion. The stereotactic angles are freely selectable by the user between ±15° to optimize the biopsy accuracy and the volume of view. The ECS compression system with manual fine tuning informs the user about applied force and compression thickness, while the motorized and automated movement of the needle guide makes stereotactic exams more accurate and more convenient.

Clinically Correct Shape

The clinically correct shape of Delta 32 needle guide unit allows excellent visibility and access to the axillary area, which is one of the most demanding areas to biopsy in a breast.

Delta TACT®

Delta TACT® is a dedicated diagnostic system for digital spot and digital 3D imaging. It is an add-on system to Diamond breast care platform to expand the diagnostic capabilities of Diamond for digital 3D imaging. Delta TACT® is targeted for clinicians with a need for diagnostic digital spot and diagnostic 3D imaging, but no need for stereotactic biopsy.

TACT® (Tuned Aperture Computed Tomography) is a universal method to produce 3-dimensional X-ray images.
