From bone to soft tissue, Innova™ 4100’s Revolution™ detector maintains excellent vascular detail over the broad variety of tissue densities. It allows for easier visualization through all body thicknesses and the system provides appropriate frame rates for vascular through cardiac applications.

The Innova 4100 delivers fine vessel detail right to the skin surface of the extremities.

The key element in Innova 4100’s imaging chain is the Revolution™ Digital Flat Panel Detector. Built to significantly improve image quality and dose efficiency, inherent characteristics of this detector provide:

  • Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE)
    The Revolution Detector provides a significant advantage in DQE, the key clinical measure of the best image quality for the amount of dose used.

  • Wider Dynamic Range
    Using advanced real-time image processing algorithms, the Revolution Detector detects the full dynamic range of X-ray exposure intensities and translates it into visible dynamic range capability multiple times that of conventional image intensifier based systems.

  • Distortion-free imaging edge to edge
    The perfectly flat Revolution detector is free of the geometric distortion produced by the curved input phosphors of image intensifier tubes, to deliver images that have no distortions across the panel from edge to edge.
