Image Vault

View your echo exams, when and where you want them. That’s the power of choice, an important advantage of Image Vault Dimension – an archive and server solution dedicated to GE’s Vivid cardiovascular ultrasound systems and EchoPAC™ workstations.

Ensure Preservation and Compatibility of Data, Including Raw Data

The Image Vault Dimension database mirrors that of Vivid and EchoPAC, offering preservation of data in the same format, allowing you to:

  • Accurately preserve and archive TruAccess ultrasound raw data.
  • Preserve all examination results and patient demographics – including structured findings, measurements, wall motion scoring, reports and stress-echo templates.
  • Add or edit measurements offline – take the measurements you made on your Vivid system and complete them on the EchoPAC.

Maximize Transfer Speed

The Image Vault Dimension is designed to ensure maximum transfer speed by allowing you to:

  • Convert raw data to DICOM on the Image Vault server, freeing up your ultrasound system.
  • Compress TruAccess (raw) data to reduce need for storage space and speed image data transfer.
  • Maximize speed for image review through a proprietary communication protocol between the Image Vault server and EchoPAC while maintaining compatibility with DICOM-based systems.

Interface With Your IT Infrastructure

Compatible with multiple systems, Image Vault Dimension provides you the flexibility you need to gear up for greater productivity. Options include:

  • Web access: Access images and reports over the Intranet or Internet from any location using a PC with web browser*
  • HIS Interface: Interface to HIS for orders and to send echo results back to the hospital information system
