GE's advanced technologies help you visualize more during breast imaging:

  • Our Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI) is an adaptive real-time software algorithm that suppresses speckle, while maintaining true tissue architecture to heighten your visibility. SRI provides unparalleled noise reduction, and produces breast images that appear like actual anatomy.
  • CrossXBeam™ imaging, GE's innovative spatial compounding technology, helps you see more detail in the breast by reducing speckle and noise, and improving resolution. CrossXBeam is an aquisition technique that acquires multiple images from different angles, combining them into a single image in real time, to enhance anatomic margins.
  • 3D multi-slice imaging allows you to view the breast in alternative planes so you can see breast lesions in the important coronal or oblique plane.


What's more, scanning with the ergonomically-designed LOGIQ P5 is fast and comfortable thanks to a full-sized keyboard, user-defined keys and hot keys. Automatic image optimization features, such as Automatic Optimization (AO) and Auto TGC, help you easily get peak image quality at the touch of a button. AO improves image quality in B-mode, spectral and color Doppler; and Auto TGC provides a homogeneous picture from the near to far field.
