The Probe 3D CSI Software is an addition to the Probe2000 Package that enables 3D Multi-Voxel Proton Spectroscopy. This 3D capability adds Whole Brain coverage to Signa's spectroscopic imaging capabilities.
3D Multi-Voxel Capabilities Enhance Proton Spectroscopy by Enabling Improved anatomic coverage, SNR and resolution. Probe 2001 is fast and easy to use producing hi-resolution spectra in as little as 10 minutes. Parametric metabolite maps can be created and then be overlaid on to anatomical MR Images for improved diagnostic confidence.
Spectroscopy image processing can be performed on the operators console or on an Advantage Windows workstation.

The Diffusion Tensor option extends the capabilities of diffusion imaging by applying motion sensing gradients along 6 to 55 directions. Tissue contrast is based on the degress of diffusion isotrophy verses anisotrophy. Automated online processing provides images maps based on T2-weighted combined, ADC (apparent diffusion coefficient) and fractional anisotrophy.
