GE Healthcare and Medical Event Reporting System (MERS) joint venture
- Systemically track events, identify root causes, and prevent process-of-care errors and other adverse events using MERS software and GE process improvement and change management methods.
- Respond to the challenge of improving patient safety and address other initiatives, such as the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's 5 Million Lives Campaign.
- Apply a toolkit of Lean, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process and Work-Out facilitation tools to help staff achieve measurable and lasting process and culture changes.
