Wireless LAN

Wireless Dash® Pro Monitoring

Stay Productive by Staying Connected

Dash monitors include wireless LAN capability to maintain patient charting and central monitoring even during transport through the hospital. Wireless LAN cards built in to each Dash monitor maintain 2-way connections and allow patients anywhere near an access point to be monitored bed-to-bed or even remotely through Unity Network connections.

More About Wireless LAN

Dash wireless LAN uses the 802.11 ISM frequency band of 2.4 GHz, with a 2 Mbits/sec transmission. Interference is minimized with frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology and automatic data load throughput to optimize bandwidth at every access point on the network.

  • Dash wireless LAN is designed to co-exist with WMTS and other 802.11 wireless applications
  • 2-way communication allows for a Dash monitor to be used as a portable telemetry display for ambulatory patients
  • Move patients through the ED, or through the hospital with no loss of central monitoring or trend recording
