Expand your Oncology Capabilities
The GE Signa Oncology Package was designed to facilitate patient positioning in the radiation treatment position, which provides greater ease and consistency in co-registering MR and CT images. MR scanning on a flat table utilizing a three-point head fixation mask provides greater patient positioning accuracy and confidence in MR images utilized in radiation therapy planning.

The Oncology Table
The oncology table includes a detachable coil positioning frame, which can be placed on the table to help place a flexible coil laterally on a patient's head. The frames can be easily removed from the table to enable flexible patient positioning in body imaging.
|
This offers:
-
Unique lateral placement of coils to accommodate exact RT patient position as with CT simulation
-
Optimized and accurate placement with coil alignment markings

Six-Channel Flex Coil
The six-channel flex coil enables high-resolution brain imaging utilizing industry-standard radiation therapy masks, neck support and bite blocks. The semirigid structure of the coil with an open design accommodates a wide range of patient positions, as well as accessories that won’t fit into standard head coils. It is a six-element array with three octagonal shaped, overlapping elements.
