Eye

You wouldn't stare at the sun!

Nor should you - or your patients - ever look into an MRI system’s laser-alignment light. Make sure you’re doing all you can to prevent laser radiation from causing eye injury.

Laser Lights

Some Signa systems use a semiconductor laser alignment light for patient positioning.

The eyes must be protected from laser radiation. The patient should be instructed to close their eyes when land marking and the laser light are turned on. Exposing eyes to the laser alignment lights may result in eye injury.

The following label is the warning label for laser products and is located on the bottom of the magnet front cover.
