Showcase to Serve as National "Blueprint" for Community Hospital Innovation
GE Healthcare announced an agreement with Rutland Regional Medical Center to develop a Community Hospital Showcase and highlight the facility as a national host site for visiting community hospitals. The agreement will leverage GE's extensive portfolio and Rutland Regional's best practices to create a national 'blueprint' for institutions that use technology to improve the quality and efficiency of patient care.
The second largest hospital in rural Vermont, Rutland Regional provides patients with some of the most advanced technology currently available in New England. The radiology department supports 30 specialized services, including the growing needs of its trauma, breast care, orthopedic and cancer center services.
