DICOM Conformance Statements

The Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard is used by virtually every medical profession that utilizes images within the healthcare industry. Health Level Seven is one of several American National Standards Institute (ANSI) -accredited Standards Developing Organizations (SDOs) operating in the healthcare clinical and administrative data domain.

Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE™) is an initiative designed to stimulate the standards-based (HL7, DICOM, Internet, etc.) multi-vendor integration of the information systems that support modern healthcare institutions. GE Healthcare actively contributes to IHE in driving the development of effective and easy-to-integrate solutions.
