GE Healthcare training sessions allow your organization to make informed decisions about your system design and learn more about GE Healthcare software structure. At these sessions, your trainers learn about the proper use and maintenance of your GE Healthcare software and supporting hardware; they will in turn impart that knowledge to end users and other staff. In addition, if you will be designing your own courses for end-user training, attendance at GE Healthcare training sessions gets you off to a great start.

Training takes place throughout your installation for a variety of needs and audiences. The attendance of appropriate staff at all training sessions helps to ensure that your milestones are properly met and that the learning process remains fluid.

Practice Management Distance Learning GE Healthcare offers three distance-learning alternatives for Practice Management training:

Type of Training Description
Centra Centra provides over the Internet the same information that an instructor would deliver in a classroom. Instructor and students interact as they would in a classroom, without the cost of the instructor's travel to your site.
Computer-based training CBT is completely self-paced: Students begin when they want to, study when they want to, and end according to their own schedules. Again, the information is the same as in classroom, but with more flexibility and lower costs. CBT can be delivered via the Internet or on a CD.
WebCT web-based training Like CBT, WebCT is self-paced, but unlike CBT, WebCT is instructor-led. Students must complete assignments, quizzes, and exercises by certain dates – but they set their own schedule to meet those dates. Students can also post questions and join in discussion groups.
WebCT is delivered over the Internet, so there are no travel costs.
