The Centricity Imaging - PACS Image Management System (IMS) uses a sophisticated relational database to offer 'on-demand' access to Radiology and Cardiology images, study worklists, patient folders, diagnostic reports, physician and department information - anytime anywhere, as efficiently as possible using IP networks.


This PACS Infrastructure offers high availability, disaster recovery, flexibility and scalability, allowing it to expand and adapt easily to your changing needs. The architecture features a database replication option to provide uninterrupted application service to the end-users.

Centricity Imaging – PACS provides a number of benefits that help reduce operating costs, improve Radiology and Cardiology departmental productivity, and increase diagnostic confidence. It also is a vehicle for image distribution, via high-speed LANs or slow networks, throughout the Healthcare Enterprise, while maintaining a permanent diagnostic image copy.
