eXplore Locus SP

eXplore Locus SP

Detecting, characterizing and quantifying anatomical changes in small tissue specimens require high resolution and superior image quality. Unlike histopathology approaches, pre-clinical micro CT provides continuous, 3-dimensional visualization and analysis of the entire specimen volume, providing extraordinary resolution in a non-destructive manner.

The eXplore Locus SP from GE Healthcare is an ex-vivo pre-clinical specimen scanner optimized for visualizing and analyzing extremely small structures. Using cone beam technology, eXplore Locus SP acquires the entire sample volume in a single scan achieving isotropic resolutions at 8µm.
