Cast Collimators / Quality Control

GE has a great tradition of providing only Cast Collimators with its Nuclear Medicine imaging systems. A complete set of Cast Collimators is available for the Millennium Family (MPS, MPR, MG & VG), for the Optima NX and for previous released systems like: Maxxus, Optima, Rectangular High-Performance XR Detector, Circular High-Performance XC Detector and Circular AC Detector.

GE Nuclear Medicine can provide you with Four Quadrant Bar Phantoms for Quality Control for all the above cameras. The CUA (Customer Uniformity Analysis) is a standard Quality Control for the Starcam Family whereas the software for NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) is available for a wide range of our products including the Millennium Family and the Optima NX.For more detailed information please contact us.

Networking Solutions

GE Nuclear Medicine Open Architecture enables our Star Family computers and our GENIE Workstations to be connected together and to other computers like Macintosh or Windows PC. Remote connections for Star Computers and/or GENIE Workstations are also available with low-traffic Modem connections or high-traffic ISDN connections (from GE IT Solutions).

  • Cedar's PQT (Planar Quantitative Thallium-201 analysis: This comprehensive program quantitates the distribution of thallium in stress and delayed imaging, and compares data to pre-existing normal files)

Data Storage

Optical Disk Storage (WORM - Write Once Read Many) is available for Star Computers "i" family. Its capacity is 327MByte per side (654MByte Total).

MOD Storage (Magnetic Optical Disk - Write Many Read Many) is available for All GENIE P&R Workstations. Its capacity is 327MByte per side (654MByte Total) and you may read Star Optical Disks on this MOD drive.

MOD Storage for GENIE P&R Release 2.5 only. Its capacity is 4.1GByte and it is available as an internal version, integrated to the New GENIE P&R CPU Hardware.
