PerfusionPerfusion expands the dominant role of CT in evaluation of patients with acute stroke. Despite the capability of MR, CT remains the "gold standard" for evaluating the presence of hemorrhage. Consequently, CT Perfusion is the logical next step to quantifying the patient's condition. The CT Perfusion software provides relative cerebral blood volume, relative cerebral blood flow, mean transit time and time to peak quantitative information. 3D Imaging Analysis3D Imaging Analysis is a post processing technique that creates 3D models using surface rendering and maximum intensity pixel projection modes. 3D in used on orthopedic and maxillo-facial exams to enhance the diagnostic utility. 3D is also a must on CT angiography to remove obstructing structures. SmartReconSmartRecon reconstruct images simultaneously 6 images / rotation providing. For a trauma patient, you can obtain a prompt diagnosis. Blood flow can be illustrated by observing contrast medium flow. "Smart recon" provides high quality examination. |
0.7 Second Scan0.7 Second Scan offers the ability to achieve 360 degrees of scan rotation in 0.7 Seconds. This increase in gantry speed creates more flexibility with protocol control for the operator. When speed is important for trauma patients or for the non-sedated child, 0.7 Second Scan makes the difference. 0.7 Second Scan times can also improve the quality of CT Angiography exams. Less contrast can be used or higher injection rates can be used to improve vascular imaging as compared to a 1 second rotation speed. (for NX/i Plus only) |
