TiP-TV® is now TiP-Ed OnlineSM

Changing with the times and evolving to meet your needs.

In 1992, TiP-TV launched its first live satellite broadcast, and for almost two decades, we have grown to meet your needs. The live satellite broadcasts evolved into an online format, and through the years, our programming helped you enhance your skills to meet the challenges of advancing technology.

With this in mind, we'd like to announce a change in our name. We will now be known as TiP-Ed Online. We think our new name is a better reflection of our programming format.

This is a change in name only. You can still expect the same timely program topics that will help to keep your professional skills current by providing you with information on the latest techniques and technologies.

We look forward to our continued relationship with a sustained goal to help you meet your professional requirements.

Infectious Disease Forum For Imaging Professionals
According to the Centers for Disease Control, healthcare-associated infections account for an estimated 1.7 million infections and 99,000 associated deaths each year in U.S. hospitals alone. Learn about the impact these infections have on morbidity, mortality, organizational resources, and the delivery of patient care.

Understanding Medical Imaging for Nursing and Healthcare Professionals
Nurses and technologists know all too well that patients often ask them to explain what will happen during an anticipated imaging study. This program introduces the magic of medical imaging to nurses and other healthcare professionals hoping to answer patients' questions.
The course objectives specifically target technologists, and healthcare workers in all aspects of direct patient care. Other specialties may also benefit from viewing this program.

Epidemiology of Bloodborne Pathogens
On December 6, 1991, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued its final regulation on occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens (Title 29, part 1910, section 1030 of the Code of Federal Regulations [CFR]). Every employer in the healthcare industry is bound by law to provide a mandatory bloodborne pathogen training program for employees. This program is not to be used as a substitute for the required annual bloodborne pathogens training, but rather to provide a background for the logic of establishing bloodborne pathogen training in the workplace.
The target audience includes nurses, technologists, and all other hospital employees.

An Overview of MR, PET/CT, and Ultrasound for Nursing and Healthcare Professionals
Patients frequently ask nursing and other non-imaging healthcare personnel what to expect when their physicians order a medical imaging exam. The intention of this program is not to give viewers a complete technical understanding of medical imaging modalities, but to convey enough information to formulate informed answers to patients' questions. This program specifically targets nurses and healthcare workers that wish to become familiar with magnetic resonance (MR), positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), diagnostic ultrasound, and physiologic vascular imaging modalities. Other healthcare personnel also may benefit from this program.
