Imaging Interoperability: DICOM
Clinicians and technologists demand seamless dataflow between digital imaging systems; however, most systems are not plug and play. This session explores the history of DICOM, explains where and why it is used, and gives the student a working knowledge of the vocabulary of this powerful protocol.
