CT TVA Training


Course Description: TVA LightSpeed RT Phase 2 training provides a review of the basic operation and Advanced Applications of the CT Scanner. The TVA LightSpeed RT Phase 2 program will commence after completion of LightSpeed RT Phase I onsite applications training. Upon completion participants should be able to operate the scanner to its full capacity. Total program consists of 3 modules. Module 1 (2 hours) outlines and demonstrates all aspects of the Exam Rx platform including scanning and Imaging Options. Module 2 (2 hours) consists of a complete review of the Prospective Multi Recon, Retro Recon and Auto mA. Module 3 (30 minutes) will review Recon Management.

Prerequisites:

  • TVA ready GE CT Scanner

Training Delivery Recommendations

Session 1: Total Contact Time - 2 Hours

  • Module 1 Complete review of the Exam Rx platform and Imaging Options

Session 2: Total Contact Time - 2 Hours

  • Module 2 Complete review of PMR, Retro recon and Auto mA

Session 3: Total Contact Time - 30 Minutes

  • Module 3 Review of Recon Management

Methods and Materials:

Optimal training results are produced when a core group of radiology staff is identified; and dedicated to program completion. To ensure the proper learning environment without distraction, the patient schedule should be modified to allow full participation during the contact time listed for each instructional module. In addition, you will need to ensure that a telephone/speakerphone is available near the system to provide a means of direct verbal communication between the instructor and participants. Finally, be sure to have your TVA TiP kit at your side when training begins.
