Introduction to Signa MR – 1.5T

Course Description

The GE Healthcare Introduction to Signa MR – 1.5T training program is a didactic and practical course designed to provide the attendee with the skills and knowledge required to successfully perform basic MR imaging on a Signa HD or HDx 1.5T MR system. This course is structured to optimize the time available for hands-on guided practice. Also, a limited class size has been set to provide a conducive, interactive learning environment.

Instruction will take place in a classroom environment and in a Signa MR suite either at the GE Healthcare Institute or at MR Manufacturing. Course lectures have been designed to provide an overview of basic physics, image quality, image production, new pulse sequences, the latest imaging options available and the Signa MR user interface. In addition, participants will discuss MR safety and the impact of pulse sequences and imaging options on image characteristics. The attendee will also have the opportunity to utilize newly acquired knowledge and skills provided during the guided hands-on practice sessions.
