Executive Summary:
The MR Signa Excite 2A course will provide you with the core information needed to use system documentation to install, configure, diagnose and troubleshoot the "Signa Infinity with Excite Technology" system. This course will cover the new Signa EXCITE (11.X) hardware along with procedures for installation, configuration, diagnostics and troubleshooting tools.
Course Competencies:
Install and configure the new Signa 11.X hardware (through EXCITE-2A)
Locate and define the Signa 11.X system hardware (through EXCITE-2A)
Diagnose, troubleshoot and replace the Signa 11.X system hardware (through EXCITE-2A)
Executive Summary:
The HDx program brings design, hardware, and performance enhancements to the current forward production HDMR product. It includes both 1.5T and 3.0T field strengths. Currently, there is training for Excite 2/2A and Excite3 HD.
Course Competencies:
Recognize and utilize all safety precautions
Recognize and understand the HDx hardware configurations, both upgrade and forward production
Understand what is involved in an HDx software load, as well as the new Installation Calibration Wizard for all HDx calibrations
Understand what new calibration, diagnostic and troubleshooting tools are being introduced with HDx, and when to use them
Identify and locate troubleshooting procedures for problems that may occur
Utilize the HDx service methods DVD loaded on the systems and the local laptops
New tools include a newly designed Grafidy3 fixture, MCR3 and TR/DD/MC System Path Diags for Receive Chain Troubleshooting and MCQA Tool for Coil SNR Troubleshooting.
Identify and locate troubleshooting procedures for problems that may occur
Utilize the HDx service methods DVD loaded on the systems and the local laptops
