Executive Summary:
The Siemens HiCor System is primarily hands-on and focuses on service results. We apply the skills learned in previous Siemens courses to the unique requirements of Coroskop HS/Hicor cardiac systems. Labs and supporting classroom discussion explore the specific functions and features of Coroskop HS based on Digital Cine Mode and Digital Acquisition system. Emphasis is placed on operation, configuration, calibration, troubleshooting and repair using system documentation, functional block diagrams, and diagnostic software in addition to service software to access system specific calibration and diagnostics applications. The sub-systems included in the course are: Polydoros IS-C, Coroskop HS, Koordinat M table, Hicor digital, Videomed S CCTV, Simomed monitors

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

Operate a Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system including; all fluoro functions, digital image acquisition, review, gantry and table functions using the appropriate controllers or consoles

Follow and apply the appropriate safety procedures (radiation, electrical, and ECPL) when servicing and troubleshooting a Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system

Locate and identify all modules and boards in the Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system and explain their basic function.

Configure and calibrate a Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system

Troubleshoot and repair system faults on a Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system to the board level

Perform the image quality tests on a Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system

Perform a functional (applications) check of a Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system

Perform a planned maintenance inspection on a Siemens Coroskop HS/Hicor system

PREREQUISITIES:
Any of the following is acceptable: Two years in Siemens R&F and Cath Lab, Special Procedures X-Ray experience, General R&F Imaging & SFD (Spot Film Devices) with Digital Imaging Experience, Advanced Diagnostic Imaging-Phase 4 - RSTI course, Advanced Concepts of Cath Lab and Special Procedurs-LV
