Program Length and Time Commitment
Students complete the 60-credit Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences program in seven 15-week semesters that span approximately two years and four months. Six to nine credits of coursework are offered each semester, and students can expect to spend 15- 20 hours per week completing course requirements and studying.

Program Faculty
All Radiologic Sciences faculty members possess work experience in radiologic sciences along with graduate degrees. This combination of strong academic credentials and solid field experience allows them to guide students through meaningful learning experiences that will immediately prepare them for more responsible roles in their own organizations.

Transferring Credits
Credits earned at another institution will be transferred and applied toward degree requirements under the following policies:

Courses must be successfully completed (with a grade of "C" or above) at other regionally accredited institutions.

Only the 12 credits in general education courses that are required in the curriculum (see Items 3 & 4 under Admission Requirements) of the student's professional program will be transferred.

The total number of credits transferred may not exceed those allowed by the residency policy. According to the residency policy, a student must complete at least 36 semester credits at Florida Hospital College of Healthcare Science to earn the Bachelor of Science Degree.

To be considered for transfer, all credit must appear on an official transcript. Foreign transcripts must be accompanied by official copies of translations and course-by-course evaluations done by a reputable international evaluation service. Applications for this type of evaluation are available in the Records Office.

Transfer credit will be placed on a student's transcript during the first semester in which the student enrolls as a degree-seeking student.

Admissions Requirements
Both Associate Degree and non-Associate Degree holders can be eligible for admission to this program. Please note that it is not a requirement for a student to have taken all requirements listed below before entering the program, however, they must take several pre-requisites before certain courses in the program. The pre-requisites are not offered in this program. Admission Criteria are described below:
To be eligible for admission to Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences program, an applicant must meet the following qualifications:

Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiography program.

Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or be registry eligible.

If your ARRT license is expired, proof of former license is acceptable.

To prove registry eligibility, obtain a letter from the director of your JRCERT program verifying eligibility to sit for the registry.

Program Cost
The total program cost is $14,075. Most semesters offer 3 courses at $660 for a total of $1,980 per semester. A matriculation fee of $150 is included in the total program cost. Textbooks for each semester are estimated at about $200-$400. Financial Aid is available for students who qualify. See the Financial Aid section.
