Anesthesia Delivery Unit (ADU) Essentials Class

Students attending the Anesthesia Delivery Unit (ADU) Essentials class will gain a better understanding of the pneumatic and electronic theory, operation, configuration, maintenance and System Checkout associated with this anesthesia system. Hands-on labs will reinforce the skills required to troubleshoot problems identified while performing the preoperative System Checkout. In addition, time will be spent working on the machines to learn the following with confidence: configure and operate the system, and the cleaning and maintenance at the expected user level. This workshop covers the Anesthesia Delivery Unit and the associated S/5 Anesthesia Monitor. It is intended for end users responsible for operating and/or supporting this equipment. This includes but is not limited to Anesthesia Technicians, Biomedical Technicians, CRNA’s and Physicians.
