Course Overview

5 Day
This 5-day course is targeted for cardiologists and radiologists who are ready to start interpreting cardiac CT studies. Attendees will experience over 50 live case studies and have the opportunity to interpret them on the latest GE Advantage Workstation. Between live cases and lectures each participant will have 150 case studies to systematically read and interpret. A team of level 3 experienced physicians will provide mentoring and interpretation over-reads. This course provides the opportunity to fullfill the Level 2 certification requirements of the ACC/AHA and offers 18 CME.

7 Day
This seven-day course combines a 2-day course and a 5-day course. The 2-day course is in a large group format and includes a series of lectures on cardiac CT and a presentation of over 100 cases. After completion of this 7-day course a physician will have fulfilled the Level 2 certification requirements of the ACC/AHA and will be eligible for 33 CME.

Please note: Kosher food is not easily available at this facility.

This course also offers the opportunity to obtain additional cases toward Level 3 cardiology certification requirements.

Faculty Background

Dr. Callister is one of the world's most experienced cardiologists in reading coronary CTA exams. He is widely published in medical journals and is a highly sought after speaker on this topic. His passion for training cardiologists on the use of CT to diagnose and detect cardiovascular disease is well recognized. Dr. Callister's training background includes study at UCLA School of Medicine, the University of Utah, and the University of Vermont. He currently practices in Tennessee and is a Director at Tennessee Heart & Vascular Institute.
